Free account

Registering and the account are free of charge. The account lets you use the practice sessions of the trial without entering any payment details. Free texts are graded free of charge if the e-mail address is confirmed and does not belong to a known disposable e-mail service. A daily limit across all accounts applies to these free gradings; once it is reached, they continue the next day. There is no entitlement to a particular number of free gradings. Registering creates no obligation to pay and no subscription. You can delete the account yourself in your account at any time. Only the packages and the access codes cost money; the following sections apply to them.

What is bought

What is bought is time-limited access as a package of one, three or six months; all three packages have the same scope. The run time starts on the day the payment is confirmed. It ends after the chosen number of calendar months: the last day is the day with the same number as the day it started, and that day still belongs to the run time; where the last month has no such day, the last day of that month is the last day of the run time. The time that applies in Germany is decisive. A one-month package that starts on the fifteenth of January therefore runs up to and including the fifteenth of February; one that starts on the thirty-first of January runs up to and including the twenty-eighth of February, or the twenty-ninth of February in a leap year. If access is still running at the time of purchase, the new package starts on the day after that access ends; no day is lost. Changing the examination date does not change the run time. It is not a subscription: no follow-on booking arises, nothing is extended, and there is nothing to cancel. After the run time ends, your own results stay readable; new simulations can no longer be started. If the account is deleted, a running package and any follow-on packages booked ahead are deleted with the account and lapse without replacement; the statutory right of withdrawal is not affected.

How the contract comes about

Submitting the paid order is your offer. The payment is started at the payment provider. Access is unlocked once the payment provider's verified confirmation has arrived — never on the strength of the browser returning from the provider, and never on the strength of a value in the address bar.

Price and value-added tax

The prices of the packages stand on the purchase surface before the purchase, each together with its run time. They are final prices; no further costs arise. As to value-added tax:

As a small business within the meaning of § 19 UStG, no value-added tax is charged or shown.

Access code

An access code is bought for one of the packages. It can be redeemed exactly once and does not expire. The run time starts on the day the code is redeemed and follows the rule under “What is bought”; if access is still running in the redeeming account, it starts on the day after that access ends. An access code bought before the packages were introduced runs until the examination date held in the redeeming account at the moment of redemption. The code is sent to the e-mail address stated at the purchase. Where delivery fails because that address was stated wrongly, there is no claim to a replacement code.

Availability

The service is offered without a stated availability rate. Maintenance and faults can interrupt access temporarily.

Liability

Es wird unbeschränkt gehaftet für Vorsatz und grobe Fahrlässigkeit sowie für Schäden aus der Verletzung des Lebens, des Körpers oder der Gesundheit. Bei einfacher Fahrlässigkeit wird nur für die Verletzung wesentlicher Vertragspflichten und begrenzt auf den vertragstypischen, vorhersehbaren Schaden gehaftet. Eine Haftungsbeschränkung durch eine Kapitalgesellschaft besteht nicht.

Place of jurisdiction

Für Verbraucher gelten die gesetzlichen Gerichtsstände; ein abweichender Gerichtsstand wird nicht vereinbart.

Dispute resolution

Zur Teilnahme an einem Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle sind wir weder bereit noch verpflichtet (§ 36 VSBG). Die Online-Streitbeilegungsplattform der Europäischen Kommission wurde zum 20. Juli 2025 eingestellt.
